Boom Skateboards

Boom Skateboard co started out the back of Cheapskates Khyber Pass by Andrew Morrison and Andrew Mapstone in 1992. We started off by locally screen printing US Made blanks with a small boom logo and soon the word about our quality got around. A few years later Kennedy Poynter came on board as the Boom brand manager/designer and launched our iconic Boom Denim, Cargo Pants and we started producing our first pro-model skateboards. Over the years Boom has supported some of Australasia's most legendary skateboard icons. Today Boom is still run by its original owner, Frank Edwards and our quest for making quality skateboards & apparel and supporting new talent is still at our core.

With some of the most iconic Australian and New Zealand skaters that have been on the team such as Mick Yuen, Secombe Watene, Berny Foo and Dennis Durant to name a few... not to mention some of the most recognized 90's skate videos, like Booms 'Brotherhood" from 1998 (it's on youtube!!) we love everything about Boom here at 335! ohhh the nostalgia!!!
